to All Programs, Section 4b. For institutions with satellite campuses, the minimum requirements for
professional holdings for both undergraduate and graduate programs shall be maintained in the said
campuses. Sharing of electronic/digital resources from the main to the satellite library or
among system-schools or consortia shall be institutionalized to maximize the use and
benefits of electronic resources and justify acquisition and maintenance cost.

Implementation of PSU Library Moodle Portal for Learning, Skills Development,
and Micro-Credentialing (https://courses.palawansulibrary.com)
We are excited to introduce Moodle, an open-source Learning Management System (LMS), as our internal
platform for learning, skills development, and micro-credentialing. Moodle will serve as a centralized repository
for training materials, support staff development, and enable micro-credentialing to recognize specific
competencies, offering a low-cost, efficient, and flexible solution for professional growth.
Purpose and Benefits: This portal aims to streamline our training and development initiatives by providing a
user-friendly platform to host online courses, store resources, track progress, and award micro-credentials.
Key benefits include:
• Cost-Effective: As free, open-source software, Moodle eliminates licensing fees, with minimal setup
costs for hosting and customization.
• Centralized Repository: Store training materials, job aids, and reference documents in one accessible
location for self-paced learning.
• Skill Development: Offer tailored courses to enhance critical skills such as problem-solving,
communication, and technical expertise, aligning with organizational goals.
• Micro-Credentialing: Support staff development through digital badges and certificates for completing
targeted modules, recognizing specific competencies and boosting career progression.

All employees are encouraged to explore our portal complete assigned courses, and pursue micro-credentials
to support their professional development. All are encourage to submit initial content ideas, including micro-
credential module proposals for continuous improvement of our system. Please use your corporate account

To streamline the scheduling of important Zoom meetings (up to 300 pax), please use
our designated Calendly accounts to reserve Zoom meeting slots. We have two
separate accounts for booking:

- Reserve Zoom for Important Meetings: Use these accounts to book Zoom

please use free platforms like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Facebook
Messenger (up to 50 participants for group video calls via Messenger Rooms
with no time limit, or 8 participants for regular group chats). (See Annex) - Separate Booking: Each account is managed independently. Please ensure you
book through the appropriate link based on availability or specific requirements. - Check Availability: Use the Calendly links to view available time slots and secure
your reservation promptly to avoid conflicts. - This approach ensures efficient use of our Zoom subscription while leveraging
free alternatives when possible.

To maximize the use and benefits of our existing and future subscriptions. A minimum of one account
or copy shall be distributed to CCRD/cluster whichever is available in the stocks.
